Friendship Place can be a busy place with 40+ activities occurring in a single month. Some of our "regular" programs that are held on a regular basis include the Creative Planning, Shopping, and Cooking Program, NAMI New Hope Consumer Support Group, and Dual Diagnosis Group. Life Skills Series Discussion Group
Meets 2x per month (see current calendar for dates). Participants are encouraged to attend both times per month.

Professional speakers are invited to present on a topic submitted by Fp members 2X per month and to facilitate a discussion about the topic. Such groups have included: fire safety, healthy relationships, boundaries, nutrition, housing requirements, blood pressure and Diabetes information, guided imagery, medicare info., and cooking lessons. |

NAMI New Hope Consumer Support Group
Thursdays: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Consumer-run support group that provides a safe and caring environment in which to express feelings and concerns about living with a mental illness. the primary purpose of these groups is to provide support and information. Guest speakers, informational videos, and social activities are also a part of the programming. |
